STANLEY FRANCIS ROBBIE At the age of 87, Stanley passed away Friday, August 3, 2001. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters and his beloved wife Joan. He leaves his niece, Dolores Czarnik and his nephew, Art Robbie, both of the City of Detroit. Stanley will be missed dearly by his special friends, Ray Thurlbeck, the Brunets (Janessa, Simone and Roger), Dawn Bryan and his many friends and neighbors. Stanley was a member of the Polish Club for eight years and worked for 40 years at the C.N. Fort Rouge Yards and Depot. He had a very long and happy marriage with his wife Joan spending many hours Ballroom Dancing and traveling to far off places. Stanley has been living at Maples Care Home the past few months where he was making new friends and enjoying all of the activities. We thank the Staff for taking such personal interest and good care of him! Viewing will be held on Tuesday (tonight), August 7, between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8 at 11:00 a.m. also at Cropo Chapel with an Oblate Father officiating.
